Meet the Teachers
Ms. Susan has been the owner and operator of Monkey Tree Montessori Preschool for the past five years. Prior to taking ownership of the school, she was a valued member of the team for two years. She received her Early Childhood Educator (ECE) certification and Montessori Directress diploma from the Montessori Training Centre of B.C. in 2012 and has been nurturing young learners in an engaging and supportive environment ever since. Guiding children through the Montessori approach is both her passion and her pride. Ms. Susan fosters independence, curiosity, and confidence in every child while helping to build a strong foundation for future success.
Ms. Paulyn is an Early Childhood Educator who has been with Monkey Tree Montessori for 5 years and has worked in the early childhood education field for 7 years. She has a genuine passion for children and strongly believes in the importance of early learning and development.Paulyn enjoys the team-based approach to education at Monkey Tree Montessori, where staff work collaboratively to create safe, creative, and engaging learning environments for children. She finds great joy in watching children grow, achieve important milestones, and develop skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.She studied at Douglas College and Vancouver Career College and speaks both English and Tagalog. Dedicated to continuous professional growth, Ms. Paulyn regularly participates in training and professional development opportunities to enhance her teaching skills and provide the highest quality care and education for the children in her classroom.
Ms. Laxmi recently joined the team at Monkey Tree Montessori. She has completed her ECEA certification at Western Community College and is registered with the BC ECE Registry. Speaking both Nepali and English, Ms. Laxmi has over 2 years of experience working with young children in early learning environments. She brings a warm, patient, and nurturing approach to the classroom, creating a calm and welcoming space where children feel safe, valued, and supported in their learning. She enjoys being part of children’s early learning journey and believes in creating meaningful, positive experiences that help each child grow with confidence, curiosity, and a love for learning.

Monday to FridayMorning Class - 8:30AM to 11:30AM
Afternoon Class - 12:15PM to 3:10PMClasses run September through June and we offer optional July and August classes.
Tuition and Registration
Monthly Tuition: $500We are thrilled to share that Monkey Tree Montessori is approved for the government funding program, Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative (CCFRI), which reduces the monthly fee from $595 to $500.
